Halloween Party Invitations

You can personalize and print this spooky Halloween Party Invitation, without needing card-making software! This article will provide everything you will need to create the invitations, along with instructions for personalizing the invitation and illustrations for making this card.

You will need the following:

  • Avery Mailing Labels, #8164 (3-1/3" x 4"), these are available in office supply stores like Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples (as an alternative, you can print these "labels" on plain printer paper and cut apart)

  • Plain white printer paper (8-1/2" x 11")

  • Black construction paper (optional)

  • Invitation envelopes (4-3/8" x 5-3/4#), these are available in office supply stores like Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples (as an alternative, a free printable envelope will be provided, requires folding and gluing)

  • Scissors, glue stick (optional)

This will make a "quarter-fold" card and the outside and inside of the card will be created by printing decorated labels using the free printable Halloween-themed template that is provided. The labels can be personalized. Each sheet of labels will make three invitations.

Personalizing the Halloween Party Invitation Labels

The free printable labels provided for this party invitation are already Halloween-themed and ready for you to enter in the details of your party!

Personalize Using Your Computer:

  • After you download the free printable label template, open the Halloween Party Invitation Labels in Word.

  • Using the illustrated instructions provided, type the details on your party in the right-hand label.

  • Complete all three labels.

Personalize By Hand:

  • After you download the free printable label template, print the sheet of labels.

  • Write in the details of your party. (If you are having a Halloween Party for children, have your son/daughter write in the details.)

  • Complete all three labels.

Making the Halloween Party Invitations

Print as many sets of labels as you will need for the number of invitations you are going to send. Each sheet of labels makes three cards.

Fold computer paper into quarter-fold cards. (See the illustrated instructions for assistance if this is the first time you are making quarter-fold cards).

As an alternative, cut and fold black construction paper. (See the illustrated instructions for a sample.)

Peel off the Haunted House label and stick it into the middle of the outside of the quarter-fold card (outside of black construction paper card).

Peel off the Witch label and stick it into the middle of the inside of the quarter-fold card (inside of the black construction paper card).

Note: As an alternative, you can simply print the "labels" on white or plain-colored printer paper, cut apart, and glue onto the folded cards.

Sending the Halloween Party Invitations

Once the cards are done, insert into envelopes, address, and mail.
