To make this Halloween Party Invitation, you will need:

For your convenience, you can download both at one time:

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  Follow these easy steps to personalize the Halloween Party Invitation:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1.
  • Open the free printable Halloween Party Invitations in Word.
  • Click the cursor in the right-hand "text box" in front of the word "Address."
  • Click and drag to highlight the whole word (you should also be able to just double click on the word to highlight it).
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 2.
  • Type in your street address
In the example shown, 123 Main St. was typed in.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 3.
  • Follow Steps 1 and 2 to type in the rest of your party information

As you can see here, I filled in a date, time, and an RSVP phone number.

Of course, you can type anything you want into the text box. You can even delete what is there, and type in whatever you want! Simply click anywhere in the text box. From that point on, it works just like any other Word document. You can delete text and type in new text.

Have fun! Be creative!

Once you've got what you want in that text box, go on to Step 4.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 4.
To personalize the other two labels with the same information, simply "copy" everything in the first text box:
  • Click the cursor in front of the word "Place," hold down the mouse button, and drag to the end of the text
  • Copy this by hitting Ctrl+C (the Control key and the letter C) or:
  • Click on Edit on the Toolbar and click on Copy
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 5.

Paste in the same information in the other two labels.

  • Scroll down to the next label.
  • Block highlight everything in the text box (same as Step 4)
  • Paste in the copied text by hitting Crtl+V (the Control key and the letter V) or:
  • Click on Edit on the Toolbar and click on Paste

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 6.
Repeat Step 5 for the last label.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alternate Step 7.

If you would prefer to personalize the labels by hand, or you are using this for a craft for children, then download these blank labels:

You can fill in the Place, Date, Time, and RSVP information by hand.

This finishes the steps for personalizing the Halloween Party Invitation.

See below for instructions for making the card.

  New Page 1

Step 1.

To make a quarter-fold card using the personalized labels, you will need plain computer paper, the labels, and envelopes.

Fold the computer paper in half, and then in half again. This creates the quarter-fold card (as shown).

Quarter-Fold Cards: What They Are and How to Fold Them

If you are going to use black construction paper and/or the free printable envelope, go to Step 5.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 2.
Peel off the left-hand label, and put it on the front of the card.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 3.

Peel off the right-hand label and put it on the inside of the card.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 4.
Now the card is ready to be put into the envelope.
You can buy "invitation" sized envelopes at office supply stores such as Office Depot or Staples.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 5.

As an alternative, you can make your Halloween Party Invitations using black construction paper (or orange, as you desire).

This can be a fun craft for kids!

Use the blank labels printed on plain computer paper. Everything can now be done "by hand" and will keep your little Super Hero or Fairy Princess occupied for a couple of hours!

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 6.
Cut the construction paper to size. If the construction paper is 8-1/2 x 11, then simply cut it in half (making two pieces 8-1/2 x 5-1/2"). Otherwise, measure and cut so that it will fit in an invitation-sized envelope.
Trim the invitation pictures. As shown, the left-hand side part of the invitation has been trimmed.
Using a glue stick, glue this piece onto the front of the invitation.
Repeat the steps for the inside of the invitation.
Fill in the Place, Date, Time, and RSVP information.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 7.

Fold and glue the free printable envelope.
