Step 1.

A quarter fold card is made by printing on one side of a piece of computer paper, plain card stock, or pre-scored quarter-fold card stock, and then folding it twice.

A quarter-fold card is made up of four equal segments. As you can see here, each "side" of the card will print be one-fourth of the piece of paper. The "outside front" and "outside back" print as shown at the bottom of the picture. The "inside left" and "inside right" of the card print the other way as shown at the top of the picture.

Of course, not every card will have something printed in all four segments of the card. This just helps to show you where each of the sides of the card are after the card is printed, and before folding it.

Step 2.

To make the first fold, fold the paper exactly in half.

Step 3.

With the paper folded in half, fold it in half again, so that the "outside front" of the card is on top.

These two folds create the card.

Step 4.

When you open the card, anything that is printed on the card will be show up in the right places.

Remember that not all cards will have something printed on the "inside left" of the card. This is just for illustration purposes.

Step 5.

This shows the back of the card.

This completes the tutorial for folding quarter-fold cards.
