To make the Valentine Candy Bag, you'll need:
  • Free Printable Valentine Candy Bags by Mom's Break Valentine
  • Glue stick (Elmer's non-toxic glue stick shown here, goes on purple, dries clear)
  • Valentine candies

The free printable candy bags are downloaded as a zip file from Mom's Break.

Print the candy bag on regular 8 x 11-1/2 computer paper.

Fold along the line marked #1. Please note that the paper does not fold exactly in half (as shown here by the Valentine candy between the two edges).

Run your thumbnail along this fold to score the edge.

Now fold in the sides marked #2 and #3.
Run the glue stick along the folded edges of the shorter side of the bag.

The shorter side of the bag does not have the fold line #4 on the edge (see upper left corner of the bag as shown here).

Fold the bag and press the glued edges together. Hold for just a few seconds to set the glue.

Fill the bag with a few pieces of Valentine candy.

Fold over the flap (marked #4) and run the glue stick on the folded edge.

Hold down for a few seconds to seal.

You can tuck this little Valentine Candy Bag into a lunch bag or a briefcase! Or use as party favors at your Valentine's Day Party!

This makes a quick---and inexpensive---Valentine treat for your son or daughter to take to school and give out to classmates.
